New passage light fittings will be installed throughout Arnhem in the first week of June 2021. The current passage lights have a number of issues.
- We have an assortment of light fitting designs throughout the passages. We have counted 4-5 designs varying in size and material.
- The current fittings allow for the ingress and accumulation of insects, specifically mosquitos in the summer months.
- They are extremely dated and basic in design.
- The fittings on the stair are often broken, when large items are transported up the stairs.
The new lights will bring uniformity to the building and improve general lighting throughout. The new fittings are IP65 rated and made from quality plastic, perfect for a seaside environment. Energy efficient E27 LED globes will be installed.
