The electric fence installation and testing was completed on Friday, 7th May 2021. The Trustees decided to paint the fence brackets the same green as our palisade fence. This colour coding reduced the visual impact of the electric fence from both the curb and parking area sides. The fence has added an additional 600 mm to the palisade fence height, and secured easy access points like the Ascot Road Telkom box, shown above. The electric fence allowed us to remove the unsightly barbed wire surrounding the municipality transformer on Milvale Road side. All very positive outcomes.

The fence in monitored by Milnerton Crime Watch.
